MMA ODDS AND ENDS FOR FRIDAY – NURMAGOMEDOV INJURED AGAIN

In the least surprising news of this year, top UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov is injured. Based on reports, Nurmagomedov was made to pull from his Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale co-headlining bout against Tony Ferguson because of a rib injury. There are talks but as of now, nothing is set in stone. That makes it the third straight fight Nurmagomedov hasn’t managed to see completion. It started with a planned UFC 178 fight against Donald Cerrone that»The Eagle» was forced out of following a knee injury. Once the bout was rescheduled for UFC 187 he reaggravated the same knee and he’s from the December fight. Nurmagomedov hasn’t fought since a unanimous decision victory over Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos. Depending on how long it takes for him to recuperate from this rib setback, he could be on over a two-year break until the Octagon is seen by him again. Ross Pearson vs. Francisco Trinaldo — UFC Fight Night 81 While one UFC bout was cancelled, another was announced as recent winners Ross Pearson and Francisco Trinaldo have been supposed to throw in Boston this upcoming January. Pearson was victorious in his last bout over Paul Felder via unanimous conclusion despite being a hefty underdog. Trinaldo did the exact same thing, winning as a dog that is massive last August via initial round TKO Chad Laprise. This is a fight, however, Trinaldo has more momentum. The Brazilian has won four straight bouts and is coming off the best victory of his career while Pearson has been unable to string any wins together in his last eight fights. While Pearson has more name recognition, it wouldn’t shock me to view Trinaldo open because the slight betting popular this time around because of his recent series of success.

COMP REBATES
Sports betting is a low-profit affair in comparison to other casino games, so most sports books provide only a small percentage of the amount bet on sports in the kind of comps, if anything. The profit margin on race stakes is greater, so that they could afford to be more generous in that area. The next table shows what the sports book families pay. For sports betting, the rebate suggested is for bets. Occasionally there is a percentage paid for bets such as teasers and parlays. Similarly, the racing percentage relies on win, place, and show bets. Wagers, like exactas and trifectas, using a greater takeout, may pay more.

The LVH has the highest sports rebate at 0.45% (roughly $1 in comps for every $220 bet) and thus wins the award for its best rebates.
